돌아가는 삼각지

서울 중심부에 위치해 있음에도 오래된 단독주택과 노포가 많은 삼각지. 앞으로는 남산을, 뒤로는 한강을 두고 있어 지리적으로도 훌륭한 이점이 있지만 용산 미군 기지 때문에 그동안 개발이 제한되었던 독특한 서울의 오래된 동네입니다. 하지만 최근 들어 삼각지의 변화가 심상치 않은데요.
대기업 본사가 들어서면서 점차 세련되고 핫한 가게들의 오픈이 늘어나고 있습니다. 해방촌과 연남동, 북촌이 그러했듯이 삼각지도 점점 개발이 되겠지요. 이곳에 터를 잡은지 3년이 되어가는 저희 가지공장은 불안해지기 시작했습니다. 말로만 듣던 젠트리피케이션이 저희 동네에도 곧 들이닥치는 건 아닌지,,
트렌디한 곳이 생겨나고 새로운 아지트가 생기는 것은 좋은 일이지만, 항상 그 자리에 있던 단골집이 없어지는 건 그리 유쾌한 일은 아닌 것 같습니다. 그래서 만들었습니다. 하나하나 그림으로나마 기록해 두고 싶은, 노포와 핫플레이스의 조화가 무척이나 매력적인 용산 삼각지, 지도 한장 들고 터벅터벅 걸어주세요.
경고하지만 삼각지의 아찔한 매력에 빠져 아무도 모르게 사라질 수 있으니 꼭 주의를 살피시는거 잊지 마시구요 :D
Even though Samgakji is located in the center of Seoul, there are a lot of old houses and stores. Its geographic advantages include Namsan Mountain in front and the Han River in the back, but the development of this area was limited due to Yongsan U.S. Military Base. However, there are serious changes in Samgakji are happening recently.
As headquarters of a large corporation was built, more and more sophisticated and popular stores are opening. As Haebangchon, Yeonnam-dong and Bukchon, Samgakji will be developed. We Eggplant Factory that settled here almost three years ago started to be anxious. What if the famous word ‘gentrification’ would happen here soon…
It is great to have trendy places and new safe houses, but it isn’t great to lose our favorite restaurants or shops. That’s why we opened this. Yongsan Samgakji, whose old stores that we want to keep in pictures and popular places are well combined. Walk along with a map in your hand.
